Unofficial fan-project status
Soul Trait Extractor is an unofficial, fan-made website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or operated by Toby Fox or the UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE teams. The site’s existence, scoring choices, trait descriptions, and presentation should not be interpreted as statements or recommendations from the creators or rights holders of those games.
UNDERTALE, DELTARUNE, character names, game names, recognizable concepts, and related intellectual property belong to their respective rights holders. The quiz questions, scoring implementation, interface code, written reflections, and original site artwork were created for this independent project. Links to the official UNDERTALE website are provided so visitors can distinguish the original property from this fan commentary.
Canon and fan interpretation
The site aims to distinguish explicit in-game associations from community interpretation. Six human SOUL items are associated with Patience, Bravery, Integrity, Perseverance, Kindness, and Justice through familiar game material. Connecting the red human SOUL with Determination is a widespread fan interpretation, but it is not presented in exactly the same explicit label format. That distinction is noted throughout the site.
Interpretive writing inevitably simplifies a larger work. Trait guides explain how this quiz defines and applies each signal; they are not exhaustive guides to UNDERTALE lore. If a page blurs the boundary between game text and project interpretation, visitors can submit a specific correction through the Contact page.
Entertainment, not professional assessment
The quiz is designed for entertainment, reflection, fan discussion, and creative inspiration. It is not a clinically validated personality inventory and does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, educational, employment, financial, or legal advice. It should not be used to diagnose a condition, evaluate fitness for a role, make a high-impact decision, or judge a person’s character or worth.
Results depend on self-reported answers, the limited situations described in 28 statements, and the project’s published weighting model. People may answer differently across contexts or over time. A high score means that the submitted responses align with a trait as this quiz defines it; it does not prove an objective amount of a virtue. Seek an appropriately qualified professional when a real-life concern calls for professional assessment or advice.
Accuracy and availability
The project is maintained in good faith, but no guarantee is made that every page will always be complete, current, error-free, or continuously available. Browser behavior, hosting, third-party services, and future code changes can affect the experience. The scoring method is published to improve transparency, and the same version of the question set is intended to produce the same result for the same answers.
Reasonable efforts are made to correct reproducible bugs and well-supported content errors. The operator may update, suspend, reorganize, or remove parts of the site without notice. Visitors are responsible for deciding whether a fan-made entertainment result is appropriate for their intended use.
Responsible use of results
You may share or discuss your result as a personal entertainment experience. Do not use another person’s result to harass them, disclose private information, make discriminatory decisions, or pressure them into accepting a label. A result generated from someone else’s answers belongs in the context they choose to give it; the site cannot verify who completed a quiz or whether the submitted answers were sincere.
Downloaded result graphics summarize a primary and secondary signal but cannot carry every limitation on this page. Anyone sharing an image should avoid presenting it as an official Undertale product or a scientific certificate. Removing the project name or adding misleading claims does not turn the output into an official or validated assessment.
Parents, educators, employers, community moderators, and other decision makers should not treat the quiz as evidence of ability, reliability, risk, diagnosis, or suitability. The tool was not designed or tested for those purposes. The safest interpretation is a conversation prompt about the answers chosen at one moment.
External links, support, analytics, and advertising
The site may link to third-party websites such as the official UNDERTALE site, Ko-fi, GitHub, Google privacy controls, and advertising choice services. A link does not mean that the third party endorses Soul Trait Extractor or that this site controls the third party’s content, security, availability, or privacy practices.
The Ko-fi link offers a completely optional way to support the independent work behind this site. A tip does not purchase an official product, unlock a different quiz result, grant a license to UNDERTALE material, or indicate approval or affiliation from Toby Fox or the UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE teams.
The site uses analytics and may display third-party advertising. Advertising, when present, does not constitute a personal recommendation or endorsement by the site operator. Visitors should evaluate claims, products, and services independently. Do not click an advertisement merely to support the site; artificial clicks and impressions violate advertising rules. Data practices for analytics and advertising are described in the Privacy Policy.
Questions and rights-holder concerns
Bug reports, attribution questions, correction requests, and good-faith rights-holder concerns can be sent using the process on the Contact page. Identify the exact URL and material involved so the concern can be reviewed efficiently. Do not post confidential or sensitive personal information through a public channel.
