Privacy at a glance

Soul Trait Extractor is a free, unofficial fan quiz. You do not need to create an account, provide a name, submit an email address, or upload a profile to use it. Your individual quiz answers, progress, result, and seven-trait score spectrum are calculated in your browser and saved in that browser’s local storage so you can resume or view the latest result on the same device.

Only after you allow analytics, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand broad usage patterns, such as page visits and quiz interactions. Analytics data is separate from the answer values and score spectrum stored locally. If you choose to send written feedback, that comment and limited page context are stored separately from analytics, with a 90-day cleanup threshold described below. The site does not request precise geolocation and does not sell personal information. If advertising is enabled, third-party advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers as described below.

Quiz data stored on your device

The quiz uses local storage, a browser feature that keeps information on your device between visits. It may store your current question, selected answer values, start time, completed result, and a content-version marker. Sound preferences may also be stored. This information lets the quiz resume without creating an account or sending the answer set to a site database.

You control this local copy. Use the Retake or Clear saved progress control in the quiz, clear site data for soultraitextractor.com in your browser settings, or use a private-browsing session if you do not want the browser to retain it. Clearing browser data may remove your saved progress permanently. Local storage is not an advertising cookie, but privacy laws may treat browser storage and cookies similarly in some regions.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 measures page visits and broad interaction events only after you select “Allow analytics”. Rejecting analytics does not prevent taking the quiz, reading guides, downloading a result, or submitting feedback. Before permission, this site does not load Google's analytics script or queue interaction events for later upload.

Once enabled, Google may receive your IP address and browser/device information to provide the service, derive approximate location, and distinguish visits using cookies such as _ga. This is pseudonymous measurement, not a promise of complete anonymity. Our code sets a 180-day analytics cookie lifetime without automatic renewal and disables Google signals and advertising-personalization signals in the tag configuration. Browser settings may shorten that lifetime. Provider-side report retention is separate from browser cookies. As checked on September 5, 2026, this property's event-data retention is 2 months and user-data retention is 14 months, with user-data retention reset on new activity enabled. These controls do not delete the aggregated data used in most standard reports. Automatic enhanced measurement of scrolls, outbound clicks, searches, forms, videos, downloads and browser-history changes is disabled; standard page views remain.

Site-authored events include page visits, quiz starts/completions, guide interactions, download/share actions and feedback-control actions; only event names and limited numeric counters (such as question position) are sent as event parameters. Our code does not transmit trait labels, named combinations, individual answers, scores, free-text feedback, email addresses or user IDs. Page locations use known public paths without query strings or fragments. After analytics permission, our tag sends only the referring site origin (scheme, hostname, and port when present) to attribute visits to search engines or other referring sites. The referring URL path, query string, fragment, and any username or password are removed. If the browser does not provide a valid HTTP or HTTPS referrer, the field is empty. Campaign query parameters are not retained.

Read how Google uses information from sites using its services and Google's Privacy Policy. You can also use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Deleting a browser cookie does not delete data Google has already processed; contact us about previously collected information.

Optional written feedback

If you select “Not yet” in the feedback control, you may choose to describe what was unclear in a free-text comment. The submission can include the page path and page category; the relevant trait label; primary and secondary result labels when you are viewing a saved result; how you reached the guide; the deepest named guide section reached; and a broad touch-or-pointer device category. It does not include your individual answers, seven numerical scores, name, email address, or precise location. Please do not put personal or sensitive information in the comment.

Written feedback is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database separately from Google Analytics and is used to identify unclear explanations, missing information, and broken experiences. Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions for automated abuse and may process technical request information for that security purpose. The service attempts to remove records older than 90 days after a successful new feedback submission. This is activity-triggered cleanup, not a scheduled deletion guarantee: records may remain longer if there are no new submissions or a cleanup fails. Contact us to request removal of a comment, identifying it without adding sensitive information. No public endpoint is provided to list or retrieve other visitors’ feedback.

Advertising: not currently enabled

This version does not load Google AdSense display-ad code. The published ads.txt entry is a seller declaration, not an advertisement and not evidence of Google approval.

If Google advertising is enabled in a future version, third-party vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Google's advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to serve personalized ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Non-personalized ads can still involve storage and require consent in some regions.

You can manage Google's personalized advertising through My Ad Center and participating third-party personalized advertising through YourAdChoices. A future advertising release must identify additional vendors and present applicable advertising-consent controls before ads are loaded.

Your consent controls

All visitors receive the same optional-analytics choice. “Reject analytics” and “Allow analytics” are equally available. Open “Privacy settings” in the footer to change the choice. Withdrawing permission disables measurement, removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies, and reloads the page to unload the tag. Your local quiz progress is preserved.

A local consent record, containing only the choice and timestamp, remembers your preference for up to 180 days. If storage is unavailable, permission applies only to the current page; a new page requires a fresh choice. Clearing site storage resets the choice. Optional reading-journey markers are held in session storage only after analytics permission.

These controls govern analytics; they are not a Google-certified advertising CMP. Before personalized ads are served in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, a Google-certified CMP must be configured and tested. Advertising remains disabled until the applicable notice, consent and approval requirements are addressed.

Service providers, links, and disclosure

Google provides optional analytics. If you email our support address, Cloudflare Email Routing forwards the message to the operator's Foxmail mailbox. Cloudflare and the destination email provider process message headers, your sender address and message content to deliver and store that correspondence. This is separate from the on-site feedback database and analytics. Avoid emailing unnecessary sensitive information. Cloudflare provides hosting, database storage and security; see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. Cloudflare provides the site hosting, feedback database, and automated-abuse check. These providers may process technical request information, including IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure their services. Their own privacy notices govern that processing.

The site links to external resources, including the official UNDERTALE website, privacy-control services, and an optional Ko-fi support page. If you follow the Ko-fi link and choose to make a payment, Ko-fi and its payment providers process the payment and account information under their own policies. Soul Trait Extractor does not receive or store your payment-card or payment-account credentials. With analytics permission, the site may record a basic click on the support link, but it does not receive the amount or payment status through that analytics event.

Following an external link takes you to a service we do not control. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the security and integrity of the site, or as part of a transfer of site operations, subject to applicable legal requirements. We do not rent or sell quiz-answer profiles.

Children’s privacy and sensitive information

This is a general-audience fan site and is not directed specifically to children under 13. It does not ask visitors to submit age, name, school, contact details, or other profile information to take the quiz. Please do not post personal or sensitive information through a public contact channel. If the operator learns that personal information from a child was submitted through a channel under the operator’s control, reasonable steps will be taken to remove it.

Quiz results are entertainment labels within a fictional fan framework. They are not health, religious, political, or sexual-orientation profiles, and the site does not use answers to create sensitive advertising audiences. Precise device location is not requested. If those practices ever change, this policy and the applicable consent flow will be updated before the new collection begins.

Your choices and requests

• Delete quiz data: use Retake or Clear saved progress, or clear this site’s local storage in your browser.
• Skip written feedback: feedback is optional and the rest of the site works without it.
• Request feedback removal: email support@soultraitextractor.com promptly with the approximate submission time, page, and enough of the comment to locate it. Because no account or contact identifier is attached, matching a record may not always be possible.
• Control cookies: use browser controls, advertising-preference controls, and any regional consent message shown on the site.
• Avoid submitting personal data: the quiz works without an account, name, email address, or precise location.
• Ask a privacy question: email support@soultraitextractor.com without including unnecessary personal details.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information controlled by the site operator. The site cannot retrieve quiz answers stored only in your browser because the operator does not receive that local copy.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the site adds or removes service providers, changes analytics or advertising practices, or responds to legal and product changes. The effective date at the top will be revised when material changes are published. The current version will remain available at this permanent URL.
